James P. Gallagher Joins SelmanCo as Director of Product and Supplier Management
Cleveland, OH – January 05, 2017 – Selman & Company, a leading insurance administrator and marketer with customers throughout the U.S., the District of Columbia, and Canada, announced today the hiring of James P. Gallagher as the Director of Product and Supplier Management. This key hire underscores the company’s commitment to offer superior products for clients.
In this role, Jim will oversee carrier partner relationships, business under management, compliance activities, as well as the strategic direction of critical products.
Jim comes to Selman & Company from Northwestern Mutual. Previously, he developed a career spanning more than 18 years with USI Affinity, an organization that specializes in providing insurance, financial, and risk management services. With positions at USI Affinity that included Manager of Marketing Support and Product Development and Senior Vice President of Business Development, he pioneered products and services for members of affinity organizations such as associations, alumni groups and non-profits. He also has served as President of the Professional Insurance Marketing Association (PIMA). Jim received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University.
