SelmanCo won two awards last week from PIMA, the Professional Insurance Marketing Association, that showcase the company’s digital marketing prowess.
PIMA is an organization that connects and serves over 100 companies in the affinity benefits field, and it hosts an annual competition to recognize inventive and effective marketing strategies. The PIMA Insights Awards this year focused on six distinct categories. SelmanCo won the two awards listed below.
Silver Award in Conservation/Retention for “ID Card Mailing Spurs Email Database Growth”
Bronze Award in Lead Generation for “Creative Facebook Ad Targeting Generates Cost-Effective Leads”
The company’s win in the Conservation/Retention category showcased a creative approach to email database growth that involved utilizing a mailing regarding updated insurance ID cards. This mailing included links to a web page that guided insureds to register their ID cards online. The project brought the total amount of emails on file for insureds from 25% to 35%.
SelmanCo’s campaign for the Lead Generation category focused on creating Facebook lead ads to market the TRICARE Supplement Insurance Plan. This campaign featured targeting geared towards interests specific to retired veterans and their families. Such targeting allowed SelmanCo to reach an array of individuals that were eligible for the TRICARE Supplement with a low cost per lead of $3.74. This result was $6.26 under the initial goal of $10 per lead.
SelmanCo has won awards from PIMA every year for the past four years. Such consistency reinforces SelmanCo’s reputation as an innovator within insurance marketing.
